Linda Mae Doss, 82, of Bob White, WV went home to be with the Lord July 27, 2022.
She was born October 3, 1939 and was a daughter of the late Clarence and Thelma Woodrum. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Doss; three sisters Marie Schauer, Carolyn Monk, and Betty Woodrum; and one brother Leon Woodrum.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Doss and wife Kathy of Foster, WV, James Doss Jr. of Hickory, NC, and Steven Doss and Ginger of Van, WV; daughters, Cheryl and Steve Morrison of Wharton, WV and Tammy and RL Foutt of Van, WV; brother, Mayburn Woodrum of NC; sister, Shirley and Estil Doss of Wharton, WV; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was the absolute best Mother in this world. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 1 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with the Pastor Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
