Linda Carol Blankenship Hoosier, 75, of Julian, WV, left this life to be with The Lord on April 10, 2025 at CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV.
She was born May 10, 1949 in Killarney, WV to Oather and Pauline Blankenship.
Linda was preceded in by her father Rev. Oather Blankenship, mother Pauline Spears Blankenship Akers, step-father Baxter Akers, and brother Denny Blankenship.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years and 10 months, Roger Lee Hoosier of Julian, WV; sons Steve (Emily) Hoosier of Durham, NC, Kevin Hoosier of Julian, WV, and Craig (Yona) Hoosier of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren Holly (Brett) Davinport of Durham, NC, Matthew Hoosier of Durham, NC, and Andy Hoosier of Durham, NC; great-grandchildren Eva, Lydia, and Ryker Davinport of Durham, NC; brothers Gary (Janet) Blankenship of Beckley, WV, David (Mary) Blankenship of AR; sisters Debbie (David) Wall of VA, and Sandy (Allen) Rueda of Durham, NC. Linda also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Linda was an employee of Moses Auto in St. Albans, WV. She was a faithful member of Eden Baptist Church in Griffithsville, WV.
Services for Linda will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Graveside service to be held at 1:00 p.m. at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veteran Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.
