Linda M. Lester

Linda M. Lester, 76, of Madison, WV passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

She was born July 29, 1945 in Fayette County, WV to the late Arthur and Violet Persinger. In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband Mike Lester and three sisters Betty, Katherine, and Ellen.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sonya Robinson (P-nut); her son JD Lester (Wendy); her grandchildren Cody Robinson (Ali), Ryleigh Price (Kirk), Hannah Violet Lester, and Jacob Lester; great grandchildren Lila and Luca Chandler; and a host of nieces, nephews, and grand dogs.

Linda will be remembered as a loving Mom and Mamaw. Her time left with us was cut short, but her generosity and spit fire spirit are still very much with us. We find comfort in knowing she is reunited with Papaw Mike.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Leroy Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow at Family Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
