Linda Sue Mantz, 79, of W. Madison, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at 10:06 pm Thursday evening on January 2, 2020 at Teays Valley Hospital, West Virginia.
She was born on December 8th,1940, in Dorothy, West Virginia; daughter of Earl and Julia Davis. She worked for and retired from Mitre Corporation. An avid fan of the Washington Redskins, she was known for her quick wit, and loyalty to her family.
She is survived by Husband Donnie Mantz of W. Madison, including daughter Cathy Mantz (Murphy), San Antonio, Texas, and son Michael C. Mantz (Alicia) of Berryville, Virginia.
She is also survived by her brother Richard Davis (Marylyn) of Foster, WV; Henry Davis of Vinton, Ohio, and Patty Lacey of Danville, West Virginia; Tammy Dunlop, and Gary Lacy, West Virginia. Grandchildren Chris Frakes (Veronica), Waco, Texas; Will (KC) Frakes (Stacia) of Aurora, Colorado; David, Noah, Sara, and Jordanne of Berryville, Virginia; and Kayden Wise and Kenzie Frakes.
Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Handley Funeral Home, Danville, West Virginia. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 6th at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, West Virginia. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Madison.
