Lois Jean Adkins, 81 of West Hamlin, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday February 20, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Hersal Adkins, parents Bertha and Oat Bellomy, four brothers, Willard, Boot, Charles and Lyle Bellomy, and one granddaughter Tina Adkins.
She is survived by her husband Clerf Adkins; two daughters, Phyllis Adkins (Carl) of Midkiff, WV, Connie Skeens of Midkiff, WV; two sons, David Adkins (Rhonda) of Salt Rock, WV, Lee Adkins (Jessie) of Cleveland, OH; one step daughter, Linda Stone (Winston) of SC; one sister, Vicky Adkins of Proctorville, OH; one brother, James Bellomy of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Amanda Shelton, Jimmy Skeens, Stacy Foster, and Robbie Adkins, and nine great grandchildren.
A private service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday February 24, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Jason McComas officiating. Burial will follow at Adkins Cemetery, Midkiff, WV.
