Lois Clay Miller Gomez

Lois Clay Miller Gomez, age 71, of Uneeda, WV was born on July 24, 1941 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2012 after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Gomez; her mother, N.Ruth McCarty; her grandmother, Ida Canterbury Clay; and her uncle, Charles C. Clay.
She was a Christian and attended The Gospel Center Tabernacle, West Madison, WV. She worked as a supervisor dietitian at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison, WV and Mt Carmel Hospital, Columbus, OH, where she retired.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ramona (Mack) Booth of Reynoldsburg, OH, James "Jimmy" Miller of Uneeda, WV, Bart Miller of Pelion, SC, Coretta (Patrick) Coleman of Whitmire, SC and Amanda (Josh Booker) Gomez of Union, SC; grandchildren, Ashley White, Alan Hughart of Reynoldsburg, OH, Skylar Miller, Cody Miller of Union, SC, Dustin Miller of Uneeda, WV, Caleb Miller of Ridgeland SC, Brandie Coleman and Jacob Coleman of Whitmire, SC; great-grandson, William Schible of Reynoldsburg, OH; brother, Arvon (Wanda) McCarty of Louisville, KY; sister, Sharron (Russell) Gravely of Brunswick, GA; aunt, Garnet Clay of Uneeda; cousins, Ann Whitmore, Ada Dolin, Guyneth White, Gayle Bryant, Mary Thompson and Charlie Clay.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, December 29th at Handley Funeral Home Danville, WV with Patty Young singing and Thomas "Bud" Hale Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.
The family will receive family and friends Saturday, December 29, from 1:00pm until service time.
