Lonzo Wiley, 66, of Cox’s Fork, Danville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Mavis Wiley.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beverly Wiley of Cox’s Fork; children, Gary and Debbie Wiley of Danville, Shaina and Edwin Bender of Julian, Casey and Jeff Ryan of Jeffrey; brother, Kenny and Tonja Wiley of Cox’s Fork; sisters, Linda Wiley of Julian, and Carol and Eugene Bias of Turtle Creek; grandchildren, Kaiden Wiley, Sydney Malcomb, Hallee Adkins, Chloe Wiley, Dalynn Wiley, Hayley Ryan, Carlee Ryan, and Baylee Ryan; great-grandchildren, Keeley Malcomb, and Addalyn Wiley; and his granddog, Sparky.
Lonzo attended Cox’s Fork Freewill Baptist Church where he was a member for 22 years. He was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord and his church family. Lonzo was a retired coal miner of Peabody Coal Company where he was a member of UMWA and an electrician for 33 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa. He loved his family dearly and loved spending time with them. He will be loved and missed by many.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Harley Egnor officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may gather at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
