Lou Vinnie Smith

Lou Vinnie Smith, 81, of Gordon, WV, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025. She was born April 7, 1943 in Wyoming Co., WV to the late Roy and Ruby Maynor. 

Vinnie was a member of Browns Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Robert White; second husband Robert "Bob" Smith; children Karen Sue White, Jerry Lee White, Robert James White; siblings Eloise Janice Lester, Nellie Janie Smith, Mary Emily Phillips, Roy Maynor, Troy Maynor, and Linda Sue Daniels.

Left to cherish Vinnie's memory are her children Raymond Junior White, Jimmy Dale White, Kimberly Josephine White, and Vicki Lynn Parks (Lee); stepchildren Karen Zornes, Judy Cook, and Robert "Robbie" Smith; grandchildren Cicelly White, Robert Corey White, Eric Parks (Ada), Kristin Parks (Joey) White, Amber Workman, and Tyler Workman, and Robert Roy Bowe. Vinnie and Bob also shared a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren together. She was also survived by siblings Jean Gunnoe and Irvan Maynor (Sherry); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Browns Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Phil Rowe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Bandytown, WV.
