Louie Gene Brown Jr.

Louie Gene Brown, 90, of Julian, WV, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2025.

He was born on June 1, 1934 to the late Henry and Virgie Brown. 

He was preceded in death by the loves of his life, Dorman Lou Brown and Norma Brown, and his oldest son, Louie Gene Brown, Jr. 

Louie proudly worked at Black’s Foodland as a truck driver for 42 years. He enjoyed coon hunting and coaching and playing softball. 

He is survived by his son, Curtis Brown (Beverly) and his daughter-in-law, Pam Brown. His grandsons were the apple of his eye, Steven Brown of Madison, WV and Christopher of SC. 

The family would like to send special thanks to Marilynn Williams and Adrian who were his caregivers and friends. 

Services for Louie will be held at 11 AM, Monday, January 13, 2025 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Chuck Gillispie officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
