Loyale Cooper Phillips Kasey

Loyale Cooper Phillips Kasey of West Hamlin, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 96 years old.

Born on March 14, 1924 to the late Watt Cooper and Florence McCoy Cooper in Ranger, WV. She was also preceded in death by husband, Haskel Phillips and son, Richard “Sonny” Phillips; husband, Louis Kasey, Jr. and son, Louis “Butch” Kasey; sisters, Faye Cooper, Pearl Cooper Price, and Eloise Cooper Clay; brothers, Darrell Cooper and Eugene Cooper.

She is survived by daughter, Sonja (Donnie) Howell of West Hamlin, WV; five grandchildren, Julie, Jody, and Jason Phillips, Michael, and Matthew Kasey; sister, Fern Cooper Coleman of Salt Rock, two special friends and caregivers, Donna Jeffrey and Tracey Dalton.

Loyale has been a homemaker since retiring from Lincoln County Courthouse in December 1980, also she was a lifetime member of the West Hamlin Church of Christ.

Thanks and appreciation to Lincoln County Opportunity Company for providing homemaker services and senior lunches and to Hospice of Huntington, WV for providing Comfort/End of Life Care.

Graveside services will be held at Sanders Cemetery, Ranger Ridge Road, Ranger WV on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Cecil Mulliins (West Hamlin Church of Christ) officiating.

There will be no visitation.
