Lucy B. Adkins, 49, of Branchland, WV died Wednesday June 19, 2019 at home. She was born July 18, 1969 in Fredricksburg, Va.
She is the beloved wife of Raymond J. “RJ” Adkins Jr.; well loved daughter-in-law to Raymond Jarrell and Betty Adkins; mother to Amanda Burdette, Tasha Richie, William McDonald and Miranda Adkins; grandmother to Leah, Alexis, Sarenity Woods, Parker McDonald and Abbigail “Abby”, Jasmyn “JJ” and Braden, and Billy Joe, children of Brian Richie; brothers, David and John Thomas; sister, Margie McClellan.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at McClarity Baptist Church, Branchland. The burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery, Branchland.
A visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.
McGhee-Handley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
