Luvue Thompson Hager, 55, of Turtle Creek passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV after a long illness.
She was born June 22, 1959 to the late Oley and Elizabeth Thompson.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 29 years, James; daughters, Leslie Marie Thompson and Candess Luvue Hager; granddaughters, Daniel Marie Halley, Dawn Halley and Lydia Luvue Bias. She is also survived by her loving sister, Lola (Blake) Goetz of Palm Springs, CA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
We would like to say a special thank you to the nursing staff at CAMC Memorial Hospital, especially nurses Ginnie, Crystal and Nathan. Special thanks to friends Carrie Thompson and Levada Wood who provided so much help and support during Luvue’s illness.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements. Per Luvue’s request she will be cremated and there will be no service, however, plans for a gathering in celebration of her life are ongoing.
