Mom, it is my deepest wish that you know how much you are loved and how much you will be missed. I have so many regrets and unspoken words, but I have to believe that you know that I love you always and I am proud to be your daughter. You were the strongest person I have ever met. I am so sorry that this terrible thing happened to you. It seems so wrong for you not to be here, but I know that I will see you again someday. Until then I catch a glimpse of you every day. I see you in the mirror when I glance at my own reflection. I see you in the way my sister Samantha stands when she is about to “put her foot down”. I see you in my brother Clyde’s eyes as he tries to hide his true feelings and how he always “speaks his mind”. I see you in my own child’s eyes and in the spirit of my niece. I see you in so many other wonderful ways with all of your grandkids. You were a wonderfully unique person and you will be forever missed and loved. Rest in peace Momma.
