Magalene Faye Cook, (Maggie) 79, of Beckley, WV passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Harper Mills Nursing Home.
She was born to the late Elbert and Kathleen (Hill) Beard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Carson Cook; and six brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Rickey Cook of Madison; her daughter, Beverly Cook of Gastonia, NC; three granddaughters, Misty Bowling of Madison, Stacie (Bill) Acord, of Oceana and Brenna Cook; six great-grandchildren, Cody and Colton Hammond, Brandon and Haylee Bowling, Livvie and Logan Acord; one great-great-grandson, David "Colt" Hammond; one sister, Debbie Linville of Peytona, WV.
The family would like to thank the staff at Harper Mills Nursing Home for their loving care of Maggie over the last year.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday February 13, 2017 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Steve Burns officiating.
