Maredith June Berry

Maredith June (Thompson) Berry, 93, of Danville, WV passed away March 20, 2023 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison WV.

She was born May 12, 1929 to the late Noah and Bertha (Barker) Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Berry; sister, Ermalea Thompson; brothers, Harry Thompson, Jessie Thompson, Gene Thompson, Billy Thompson, James Thompson, Halley Thompson and Michael Thompson; and a daughter, Deborah Lynn Berry.

She was a longtime member of the Mud River Church of Christ.

She is survived by daughters, Ruth (Melvin) Holstein of Danville, and Gaytha (Ronnie) Ball of Madison; sons, Ralph Berry and Stevie (Brenda) Berry of Mud River; 12 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Eddie Vickers officiating and with Terry Nelson reading a poem.
