Margaret Ann Walker Menear, 79, of Bim, WV went home to be with the lord after battling lung cancer. She was born on November 24, 1935 in Bias Branch, WV and passed away September 15, 2015 at the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed attending the Bim Freewill Baptist Church there in her community. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved listening to her gospel music and reading the bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband: David C Menear, her parents James J and Ella Walker. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers: Arnold, Keith, Melvin, Leland, Lawrence, Charles and James P Walker and one sister Nettie Mae Haller.
She is survived by two sons: Michael (Debbie) Mitchell of Bald Knob; and Steven Menear of Bim; one brother: Douglas (Rosa) of Chicago, IL, and one sister: Emelene Walker Craddock (Rodney) of Lake, WV., two grandchildren, Sonjia Cottrill of Clarksburg and Aleashia (Ricky) Ramsey Jr of Lenore, NC., three great grandchildren, , Vinnie and Seth of Clarksburg, WV. Brooklynn Ramsey of Lenore, NC.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Bim Freewill Baptist Church with Rev John Frame officiating. Burial will be private with family.
Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. on Friday at Bim Freewill Baptist Church.
