Marion Jo Gibson

Marion J. Gibson, 73, of Van received her angel wings early Wednesday morning and took her heavenly flight to be with Jesus and a host of our family in the Eternal City of God.
Marion was the first of three girls born to Carl and Marcia Acree Gibson on December 9, 1943. She leaves behind a sister Kay Thurmond (Richard) Wharton, WV. and Mary Beth Gibson of New Symrna Beach, FL. She has nieces and nephews: Gina Cornell (Mark), Denise Seabolt (Tom), Christy Dickens (Brian), Shane Williamson, and Blake Golden(Meghan), and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Marion was a retired nurse from CAMC in Charleston, WV. She attended the Bigson Freewill Baptist Church.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be a gathering of family and friends at the B.C. Gibson Home Place in Bigson on June 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Paul Hazelton will officiate the service.
