Mark Anthony Johnson

Mark Anthony Johnson, age 49 years, of Elkins, WV passed away on May 4, 2016 at his brother’s home in Alkol, WV surrounded by love and comfort.
Mark was a “Jack Of All Trades” who spent the last several years with Greenfield Cabinetry. He had a passion for nature, custom wood creations and automotive mechanics. He was also a member of Believers Fellowship Church in Montrose.
He was preceded in death by his mother Martha June Johnson (Henry) of Jeffrey, WV and his father Herman Darrell Johnson also of Jeffrey, WV.
Mark was a proud father and is survived by one son, Eli Johnson of Parsons, WV; four step-children, McKenzie Summerfield of Elkins, Sawyer Summerfield, Jonathan Summerfield and Taylor Summerfield all of Elkins, whom he helped raise with his former wife, Jamie Bailey (Johnson) of Elkins. He is also survived by three brothers, Mack Johnson of Charleston, WV, Darrell Johnson of Charleston, WV and Buck and Pam Johnson of Alkol, WV; and a niece and a nephew, Ashley Johnson and Buck Johnson both of Alkol, WV.
At his request he will be cremated and his remains distributed as per his wishes.

In lieu of flowers we ask instead that you make a small donation to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Mark Anthony Johnson.
