Mary L. Miller of Danville, West Virginia went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, on the first day of Spring.
Mary was born to the late Nollie and Ruby Vickers of Wharton, WV on May 28, 1929. She is also preceded in death by her husband A.T. “Burrhead” Miller, Jr. and a sister Jenny Runyon.
Mary leaves behind those who will cherish her memory, her children, A.T. Miller III (Jeri Lynn Adkins) of Charleston, Teresa (John) Spinks of Danville and Vickie (Stefen) White of Madison; grandchildren, Brittany (Dustin) Price and Megan Spinks of Danville, Taylor Miller of Cornelius, NC, Noah and Amelia White of Madison; great grandchildren, Brody Price and Aubrie Price; one sister, Dora Alice Shellhouse of Graniteville, SC.
A special thank you to Hillcrest Nursing for the kindness and care that was given, also to Gracie for the love and humor showed to Mary. Mary was first and foremost a mother, always caring and nurturing her children. Mary’s home was always open to family and friends that never left without a home cooked meal.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with the Rev. John Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
