Mary Leigh Sparks

Mary Leigh Sparks, 63, of Hamlin, WV, was born on March 31, 1960 in Logan, WV and passed away December 21, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty two years, Tony Sparks; mother and father, John L and Elsa Davis; sisters, Judith Carper and Sharon Brogan.

She is survived by her children: Carolynn (Scott) Orr of Huntington, WV, Tommy Browning of Logan, WV, Cheryl (Michael) Henson of Williamson, WV, and Briana (Nathan) Gumm of West Hamlin, WV. Five grandchildren; Peyton, Derek, Calleigh, Walker and Brooklyn. Her feline companion, Cali. A host of nieces, nephews, and special friends; Jean and Kenny Conley and Sherry Duclos.

Visitation will be at Handley’s Funeral Home in Hamlin, WV on Saturday, December 30, 2023 beginning at 12pm with a service to follow at 1pm.
