Mary Edith Stuart McCray 84 daughter of the late William and Esta Stuart, was born in Drurys Run, Renova, PA, October 12, 1929 went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gerald E. McCray, Sr. daughter; Carol Baum of Danville, WV her two sons; Wayne McCray of Bim and Gerald McCray, Jr. of Little Rock, Ark, her brothers; Malcom Stuart of Twilight, WV and Jack Stuart of Hubert, NC, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is past President and past District President of Priscilla Rebekah Lodge 266, Fairview, PA, past President of the Orville H. Frank Unit 742 American Legion Auxiliary, lifetime member of the Fairview Fireman Auxiliary, member of the 8/40, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Madison WV.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Ray Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
