Mathel Ione Ferrell

Mathel Jarrell Ferrell passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Boone Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Mathel was a Van High School graduate and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
More then anything she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Ferrell; siblings, McConnelly Jarrell, Maurice Jarrell, and Patricia Pauley.
She is survived by daughters, Janie Ferrell of Madison, and Peggy (Bubby) Green of Madison; granddaughters, Hope (Chris) Miller of Lagrange, OH and Amber (Josh) Goodson of Danville; great grandchildren Emma and Brock Miller, and Jax and Van Price; sisters, Dale Hobbs of Albany, OH and Marla Meier of Elyria, OH.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Bill Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour to the service.
