Maxine Marie Workman, 62, of Ashford passed away July 24, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born July 4, 1954 and was a daughter of the late Milton and Martha Cook. She was preceded in death by sisters, Laura Loftis and Lena Bright; and brothers, Lee, Bruce and Lanty Cook.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Roger Workman; daughters, Paula (Billy) Christian of Drawdy and Cindy (David) McCallister of Ashford; brothers, Lester Cook of Uneeda and Leon of Ramage; sisters, Lue Green of Uneeda and Linda Estep of Brounland; grandchildren, Alyssa (Shane) Keeney, Willen Christian, Haley McCallister and Jacob McCallister; and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Luke Keeney.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Richard Harold officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery, Ashford.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
