Michael Griffin Jr.

Michael James (Mike) Griffin, Jr, (known as Pete to some) 73, of Branchland, WV departed this world Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his residence. 

Mike was born August 19, 1951 in Logan, WV, but traveled and lived all over the United States. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who received 2 Purple Hearts during his service with the United States Air Force. Mike was also a lifelong member of the Outlaws MC. Mike worked as a disc jockey in several states, but his most prominent role was as Jesse James of Jesse James and the James Gang at local radio station WTCR. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael, and countless club brothers that he loved dearly. 

Mike is survived by his companion for the last years of his life, Teresa, his precious dog, Bandit, who was his pride and joy, countless friends and club brothers who loved and respected him and his many accomplishments. 

Mike’s wish was to be cremated.
