Mildred Osborne, 76, formerly of Alkol, WV and Clothier, WV, died peacefully in her sleep on December 27th, 2016. Born February 15, 1940 in Webster Springs WV, she was preceded in death by parents Orville and Ella (Brown) Simmons; husband Rev. Ray Osborne; and brothers, Oscar (Joann) Simmons and Thomas (Delcie) Simmons.
She is survived by her children; daughters, Ginger (Paul) Haring of Carmichaels, PA, Kimberly (Mark) Huffman of Alkol, WV and Vickie (Brison) Chu of Williamsburg, VA; and son, Kenneth Osborne of Alkol, WV.
Also surviving are grandchildren, David and Katherine Haring, Joshua, Zachary (Moregan), and Matthew Huffman, Benjamin Osborne, Brison Alexander, Andrew, Grace, and Samuel Chu, and great-granddaughter Amelia Huffman.
She also leaves behind siblings Winnie (Bruce) Rutherford of East Lake OH, David (Doris) Simmons of Florence MS, Harlen (Ina) Simmons of Elkview WV, and Gatha (Donald) Triplett of Sheffield Lake OH, as well as a host of much loved nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 31 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Clint Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in Huffman Cemetery, Alkol, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
