Monna Kay Damron, 79, of Alkol, WV passed from this life to be with her husband on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
She was born on July 7th, 1944 to the late John and Pearl Danbury. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Wayne Damron; and sisters Helen Walsh and Billie Kauff.
She was a devout Christian that loved the Lord.
Surviving are her sisters, Judy Truman, Jane Seacrist, Sue Giacomo, Lois McGuire, and Carol Wingett; and brothers, Garrett Jackson, and Doug Danbury.
She is also survived by her son, Lee (Dana) Damron; daughters, Suzie (Mike) Price, and Deanna (the late Dave) Journell; grandchildren, Douglas Damron, Megan Damron, Jordan Damron, Sean Price, Kaytlin Adkins, and Nate Journell; and great grandchildren, Roselyn Adkins, Aiden Damron, and coming soon Allie Kay Adkins.
Monna Kay was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She worked in a variety of fields over the years: teacher, realtor, and hairdresser. She will be sorely missed.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Ray Barker at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22nd with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
Graveside at Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV.
