Myron D. McCoy

Myron D. McCoy was the youngest son of Edward H. and Doris J. McCoy. He was born November 11, 1966 and passed away suddenly on Friday, June 28, 2019 while employed at Adams Trucking Company, Barboursville, WV.
Upon graduating from Guyan Valley High School, Pleasant View, WV, Myron entered the U.S. Navy and performed honorably for 20 years. During his service Myron met and married his lifelong love Mylyhn Pn McCoy. Myron returned to Branchland, WV after military service and was a great help to his Mother and Father for many years.
His many joys in life included spending time with family, hunting on his ancestral farm and telling tales of his rich adventures while sailing the seven seas.
Myron was preceded by his mother, Doris Jean McCoy.
He is survived by his wife, Mylyhn McCoy; father, Eddie McCoy; step-mother, Darlene McCoy; brothers, Mark and Mike; sister, Maria and many nieces and nephews. Myron David is and will always be loved and remembered by all he touched.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday July 3, 2019 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Chris Fulks officiating. The burial will follow in the Sanders Cemetery, Branchland, WV where there will be a military graveside service.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
