Nancy Ellen Boggs was born in Madison, WV on July 12, 1954 to Ronald and Lana Sigmon. She departed this world on March 31, 2021.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Lana; and brother, Robert “Bobby” Sigmon.
She is survived by three brothers, Larry (Jackie) Sigmon of Yawkey, WV, Howard (Lucinda) Sigmon of Alkol WV and Ray (Kathy) Sigmon of Madison, WV; a sister Delores “Gail” Goodwin of Madison, WV along with numerous nieces and nephews; her four children, Stevie (Melissa) Sigmon of Madison, WV, Wendy (David) Smith of Gordon, WV, Laura (Steven) Gibson of Wharton, WV and Stephanie (Tony) Boggs of Bim, WV; nine grandchildren, Joshua Sigmon, Joseph Sigmon, Eden Sigmon, Justin Lambert, Michael Lambert, Lindsay Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Averie “Sassy” Gibson and Conner Boggs; two great-grandchildren, Michael “Little Man” Lambert and one on the way.
Nancy enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee, being outdoors, drawing, writing poetry, listening to music and reading her Bible.
No matter where life took Nancy she always loved her family and God. Her earthly life is now over and her eternal life has began. She is now in the hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she will be deeply missed. May we all cherish the memories we have, a sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Amen.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at James and Lilly Roberts Cemetery, Bulger Road, Alkol, WV with Lonnie Lovejoy officiating.
