Nellie Jane Smith, 71, of Ottawa passed away February 2, 2019 at her home.
She was born February 16, 1947 to the late Ammond and Ruby Tabor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Troy Maynor; and two sisters Linda Daniels and Eloise Lester.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bobby G. Smith; six children, Bobby (Jean) Smith of Latrobe, WV, Karen (Joe) Craddock of Kenna, WV, Carl (Teresa) Smith of Cyclone, WV, Ricky (Pam) Smith of Cyclone, WV, Kenny (Crystal) of Garretts Fork, WV, and Ruby (Mark) Williams of Hillard, FL; 23 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Roy (Barbara) Maynor of Mallory, WV and Irvan (Sherry) Maynor of Jeffrey, WV; and three sisters, Vinnie (Bobby) Smith of Gordon, WV, Jean Gunnoe of Ramage, WV and Mary (James) Phillips of Jeffrey, WV.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 6 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Garry Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Morrisvale.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
