Opal Gay Pennington

January 29, 1927 — November 3, 2019

Opal Gay Pennington 92 of Bald Knob left this world to be with her Savior on November 3, 2019 after a short illness.
She was an active member of the Greenwood Church of God, where she had been a member of the Greenwood Gospel Travelers. She was always praising the Lord through her singing.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Dona Peters of Bald Knob, husband Marlin Pennington of Bald Knob, daughter Pamela Pennington of North Carolina and daughter in law Terri Pennington of Bald Knob.
She is survived by brothers; Denzil Peters of Florida, Arnie Peters of Indiana, brother in law Charles (Christine) Pennington of Beckley, WV, sons; Barry (Rita) Pennington of South Carolina, and Luther Paul Pennington of Bald Knob, daughters; Rebecca Ann (Dennis) Cave of North Carolina, and Theresa Ann Pennington of North Carolina, 13 grandchildren, and a passel of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all who lover her dearly.
Funeral service will be noon Thursday, Nov.7, 2019 at the Greenwood Church of God with Pastor Sheila Workman officiating.
