Opal Woodrum

Opal Woodrum 81, of Hamlin, WV went home to be with Jesus on May 15, 2023 at Lincoln Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on March 9, 1942 in Logan County a daughter of the late Creed and Georgia Gibson Osborne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harrison Bill Woodrum; her children Vicky Bragg, and Dewey Allen; her siblings Robert, Willard, Edward, Ricky, and Pearl.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Greg) Prichard of Midkiff, WV; her grandchildren Timothy Arnold, Chad Arnold, Karen Evans, Kevin Evans and Greg Adkins; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Eddie (Debbie) Osborne of Cocoa, FL and Billy Osborne of Whitesville, WV; sisters Mary (Leonard) Wiley of Ranger, WV, Gladys Roy of Wayne, WV, Jean (Gary) Rossodivita of Brookeville, FL and Linda Spears of Danville, WV; several nieces and nephews. May she rest in peace.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 18, 2023 at Handley Funeral Home Hamlin, WV with Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memory Gardens Hamlin. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday.
