Opie Jessie Thompson, 84 of Danville, WV passed away November 28, 2020 at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehab.
He was preceded in death by his parents Noah and Bertha Ann Barker Thompson, siblings; Harry Thompson, Gene Thompson, James Earl Thompson, Billy Dean Thompson, Hallie Thompson, Michael Thompson and Erma Lea Thompson.
He attended the Mud River Church of Christ and was a logger.
He is survived by a sister Mereadith Berry of Danville, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 Barker Cemetery, Mud River, WV with Gary Berry officiating.
