Patricia Hamm

Patricia Pauline Hamm, 80, of Madison, WV passed away January 24, 2025 at home. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Roy Hamm; infant son, Jerry Wayne Hamm; grandchild Brianne Dietz of Reedsville, WV; her parents Grady and Beulah (Blevins) Carrico; brother Glen (Mae) Carrico of Madison, WV; sister, Judy (Carrico) Bourne of Frametown, WV.

She is survived by son, Jeffrey (Mariea) Hamm of Reedsville, WV; daughters, Jennifer Hamm (Chris) Malcomb of Danville, WV and Jackie Hamm (Brian Reynolds) of Beckley WV; nine grandchildren, Valerie (Ty) Pickett, Nick (Jessica) Ulbrich, Allie (Trey) Workman, Andrea (Bud) Shafer, Rachel (Cody) Gibson, Tyler Hamm, Sara Hamm, Whitley (Connor) McKissick and Brandi Rose; 13 great grandchildren, Oaklee Ulbrich, Axel Ulbrich, Wyatt Shafer, Ava Shafer, Gage Shafer, Grace Shafer, Lane Shafer, Blakely Gibson, Hazel Gibson, Leighton Gibson Levi Dietz, Brady Dietz, and Ocean McKissick; and one great-great grandchild, Mason Shafer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

She was a member of the Madison United Methodist Church. She was an avid puzzle solver (especially online), enjoyed reading and crocheting. She loved her snacks, chocolate mostly. She was up to try anything whether it be activities, travel, (especially beach travel) the occasional pina colada, sing karaoke (particularly Elvis Presley songs) and exploring anything new, even flying and cruising. At family gatherings, she was always the center focus with her quick wit and her strong opinions. She was so insightful and was a confidant. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV.
