Patricia Renee James of Olin, NC formerly of Greenview, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 8, 2013.
Patty was born in Madison on October 17, 1950 and attended Scott High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sultara James and Jack Hager; and brother, Ronald Hager.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Charles Abrams II (Lynn) of High Point, NC and Greg (Cayla) Abrams of Greenview; siblings, Barbara (Larry) Breedlove of Greenview, Nancy (Larry) Stevenson of Hewett, John (Darlene) Hager of Powell Creek, Jeannie (Roger) Green of Madison, Paul (Julie) Hager of Powell Creek, Jerry Hager of Cleveland, OH, Joyce (Bill) Holk of Ohio and Jack (Lavinia) Riffe of Ohio; grandchildren, Mary and Haley, Sarah, Alyssa and Jonathan; and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of Olin Village Assisted Living and Hospice Care.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Donald Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
