Patricia McElroy

Patricia “Patty” McElroy of Belle, formerly of Danville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” McElroy; parents, Wilburn “Wig” and Irene Stevenson; and brother, Randy Stevenson.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by sisters, Candace (late Lewis) Smith of St. Albans, Deanna (Paul) Cooper of Madison and Deborah (Newman) Nutter of Poca; brothers, Steve (Kathleen) Stevenson of Foster, Michael Stevenson of Danville and Dwight “Ike” (Lynn) Stevenson of Ocala, Fla; children, Sue McElroy of Greenville, SC, Larry (Lani) McElroy of Crothersville, In. and Lisa (late Kaje) Pitts of Belle; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Ray Barker officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
