Patrick Lee Hudson

Patrick Lee Hudson, 89 of Racine, WV went to his heavenly home on November 4, 2024. He was born on July 28, 1935, in Prenter, WV. He was preceded in death by parents John W. Hudson and Dorothy M. Brickey Hudson, nephew Gill Hudson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty-three years, Nancy E. Kirby Hudson of Racine, WV, Son Scott Hudson (Elsie) of Racine, WV, daughter, Beth Hudson Mucklow (Will) of Charleston, WV, grandsons Caleb and Jonah Coffey and Richard Mucklow, all of Charleston, ww, brother Charles E. "Chubby" Hudson (Elizabeth) of Tampa, FL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

Pat graduated from Sherman High School in 1953 and attended WV Institute of Technology. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the WV National Guard. He retired from Cyprus Amax minerals Company.

He was a devoted Christian and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Racine, where he served as Deacon, Superintendent of Sunday school and custodian.

Pat was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, Father, grandfather and uncle. He always puts the needs of others ahead of his own. He would do anything to help friends and neighbors, or anyone in need. Pat was truly a great man. Visitation Will be Thursday November 7, 2024, from 6-8 pm at First Baptist Church of Racine. Funeral Will be at 11:00 am on Friday November 8, 2024, also at First Baptist church of Racine, with Reverend Anthony Pratt officiating. Burial following at Tamplin Family Cemetery. Handley Funeral Home will be assisting the Family.
