Paul Rufus Ball, 66, of Van died suddenly at home on Sunday, June 10, 2018 following a long battle with several medical problems and a motorcycle accident.
Paul loved reading, camping, fishing and all sports, especially his NY Yankees.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Lydia Ball of Van; brother, William Ball Jr.; sisters, Ruth Helen Ball and Lois Jean Perry; and his precious fur baby, River.
Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Teresa Thomas Ball; two daughters, Summer Dawn Ball of Van and Katerina Lynn Ball of Charleston; grandson, Cody and granddaughter, Scarlet both of Van; brothers, Jackie Lee Ball (Carolyn) of Georgetown, Ill, Phillip Carl Ball (Margaret deceased) of Danville, and Kenneth Ray Ball of Van; sisters, Phyllis Ball White (Thomas) of Kodak, TN and Rebecca Ball Dornbusch (Edward) of Macedonia, OH; and sister-in-law, Linda Webb Ball of Lagrange, OH. He was a special and beloved uncle of many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving animals, Little Bits, Kody Bear, Bella and Thumper.
There will be a memorial service for the celebration of his life at Van United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
