Paul Franklin Dearien, 29, of Madisonville, KY was born July 23, 1983 in Charleston, WV and was killed in an automobile accident on March 8, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Pauline Buzzard and Grover and Daisy Dearien.
Paul is survived by his wife, Lisa and sons, Tyler and Logan of Madisonville, KY; his father and mother, Frank and Donna Dearien of Madisonville, KY; his brother, Jeremy (Juliane) Burdette of Helena, AL; his sister, Shelly Dearien of Charleston, WV; and nieces, Olivia and Emma.
Paul was a Nascar fan and loved to fish, hunt, travel the woods, skydive, and rock climb.
He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp and was currently employed by Drummond Coal Company of Alabama.
There will be a gathering of friends and family from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with John Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Harless Cemetery at Drawdy, WV with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.
