Paul David Powell, 70, of Danville, WV passed away December 23, 2021.
He was born August 21, 1951 and was a son of the late Howard and Edna Powell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Danny Powell, Everett Lewis Powell, Terry Powell, and Philmore Powell; one sister Vickie Sue Cook; and great niece Victoria Colvin.
He is survived by his brother, Randy Lee Powell of Madison; nieces and nephews, Shannon Cook of Powell Creek, Angela and Jeff Reed of Pikeville, KY, Heather Powell of Virginia, Scotty Powell and Becky Powell of Madison, Teresa and Raymond Thompson of Wharton, Danny and Jennifer Powell of Danville, Don and Amanda Powell of Wharton, Brittany Powell of Madison, and Breanna Powell of Madison; many great nieces, nephews and cousins; and a very special nephew Jayden who he thought the world of; and also a special friend Estill Webb.
He loved watching football, Nascar, and Westerns.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
