Pauline Adkins 9/12/1934-2/14/2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Adkins, 90 years young, of Massillon Ohio, who passed away peacefully with family by her side February 14th, 2025 following a brief illness.

Pauline and her twin Paul were born in Branchland (Fez Creek), West Virginia to the late Larken (Lark) and Pansy McComas Blankenship 9/12/1934. Her birth mother passed at their young age of 3 weeks old. Raised since birth by the late Elijah and Ella Adkins as her foster parents. She married her sweetheart James Taylor Adkins, to which they built their lives in Massillon, Ohio. She retired from the State of Ohio in the unemployment office. She enjoyed camping and fishing at Lake Erie and spending time with her family. She loved everyone she met. She is known for her smile and sweetness to all. To know her was to love her.

She is survived by her brothers Paul (Judy) Blankenship, Lark Jr. (Lena) Blankenship, Dexter Adkins, and special sisters-in-law Glenna Adkins, Gloria (Sherman) Adkins, and Sylvia Adkins. Stepdaughters Charlotte Thomas and Susie Adkins. Special nieces and nephews who she helped raise as her own Jody Adkins, Michael Adkins, and Lori (Scott) Wyler to whom she was known as Momine, as well as many other nieces and nephews, great/great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins who she adored dearly. She was blessed with amazing neighbors who she loved as family, Wayne (Cathy) Hershey with daughters Heather and Carissa.

Brothers Earl, Carl, Anthony, Frank, Malcolm, Boyce, Bobby, and Jackie Blankenship. Sisters Lova Jean Blankenship, Bonnie Blankenship Lee, and Mildred Blankenship Dobish.

The heavenly distance between us now does not change the power of our love.
