Pearl Casto, 72, of Wharton went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2016. She was the daughter of Sola and Augusta White.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Casto; father, Sola White; brother, Charles N. White; and one granddaughter, Bobbie Rae Rossiter of Leesburg, Florida.
She is survived by three children, Martha Casto Sherlin of Bandytown, WV, David L. Casto of Auburn, WV and Sarah A. Casto of Wharton, WV; son-in-law, Clayton K. Sherlin of Marion, NC; and daughter-in-law, Elaine Casto of Auburn, WV; two sisters-in-law, Sue Lutsy of Whitesville, WV and Mary Casto Akers of Nellis, WV; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; mother, August White of Bim, WV; two brothers, Shirley White and Calvin White both of Bandytown, WV; two sisters, Myrl Carpenter of Bim, WV and Macil Sheets of Hazelgreen, WV; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by family, friends and loved ones.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe and Pastor Chip Frame officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery, Ashford.
Friends may call one hour to the service.
