Peggy Javins Barker

Peggy Javins Barker, 72, of Foster, WV passed away on April 13, 2015 at her home.
She was born March 20, 1943 in Madison, WV and was a daughter of the late Carl and Mamie Smith Javins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Leon Barker; daughter Angie Barker; sister Maryann Halstead; and brothers, Cue Javins and Carl Javins.
She is survived by her niece and nephew Becky and Steve Pratt of Foster; two sisters, Jean Walton of Charleston and Juanita Chambers of Marmet; and brother, Larry Javins of Rock Creek.
She attended Bible Baptist Church and was a member of the American Heart Association and Boone Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Per her request she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Ladies Auxiliary Boone Memorial Hospital.
