Peggy Lucy Harvey

Peggy Lucy Harvey, 71, of Greenwood, WV passed away into the arms of Jesus on February 2, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Dale Harvey. She was a devout Christian and a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.
She was a hairdresser for 20 years with a host of close friends and relatives.
She was a loving wife and mother of three children, Michael Allen Harvey (Erica) of Holden, WV, Julie Ann Goad (David) of Mate Creek, WV and Kenneth Scott Harvey (Camille) of Greenwood, WV; seven grandchildren, Tara Lynn Harvey (JB Blair), Shawn Harvey (Rena), Miranda Beard (Mikie), Mallory Sutphin (Jason), Kelsey Jones (Jonny), Jacob Harvey (Olivia), and Camron Adkins; ten great grandchildren; and two loving sisters, Bonnie Tunget Mason (John) of Salisbury NC and Betty Jo Gogel (Dennis) of Fairhope, AL.
She always had a warm smile, a kind shoulder and ready for a good laugh. She truly enjoyed life and always said that there was a reason for every season. We always needed the rain so the beautiful flowers would grow. She always shared a ray of sunshine and carried a positive attitude. Her life lessons that she taught us will last for many years to come.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Turtle Creek, WV. Burial will be 2 pm at Harvey Toler Cemetery, Bald Knob, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
