Peggy Madelene Nunley of Madison went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018.
She was born on July 11, 1942, daughter of the late Harold Clark Brown and Ethel Pearl (Watts) Brown of Summersville, WV.
She married Charles F. Nunley, Sr. previously deceased, and together they raised four children. She was a devoted wife and mother for many years. She loved the Lord and her church. She liked to travel and was an avid reader, especially the Bible. Later in life, she worked for Pro Careers Home Health Care doing what she loved, caring and helping people.
Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Richard D. Brown of Canvas, WV and Leonard C. Brown of Danville, WV.
She leaves behind four loving children, Charles F. Jr., (Shelia) Nunley of Foster, WV, Sheree (Stan) Shaw of Edmond, OK, Kelly (Donald) Harless of Danville, WV and Jimmy Nunley of Madison, WV; others left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Shirley McClung of Summersville, WV and Judy Kidd of Oak Hill, WV; two brothers, Jimmy Brown of Kingwood, WV and Samuel Brown of Summersville, WV; five grandchildren, Christopher (Georgina) Nunley of Foster, Savannah and Darren Harless of Danville, and Lindsey and Lacey Nunley of Poca, WV; two very special friends, Ruth Brown and Barbara Hill; as well as many extended family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Wilson and staff at CAMC, Teays Valley Hospital, and Hubbard Hospice House for the care and compassion they provided.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 22nd at Danville Memorial Park, Danville with the Rev. John Barker officiating.
