Phillip L. Kirk, 77, of Peytona went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Opal Kirk; brothers, John , James, Jack and Everett Kirk; and sister, Alice Barker.
He retired from N.L. Industries and Elements with 35 years of service. He attended Mahone Chapel Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Garretson Kirk with 58 years of marriage; one son, Phillip Dean Kirk (Bethanie) of Peytona; one daughter, Deanna Lou Holstein of Ashford; one sister, Jane Ann Javins (William) of Crawford; seven grandchildren, Brittany McCallister (Justin), Brittany Bryant (Mykol), Michael Dean Kirk, Travis Holstein (Brittany), Daniel Vanoy, Thomas Joseph Vanoy and Kelly Vanoy; and nine great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor David Kinder officiating. Entombment will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
