Phyllis Joyce Berry
January 7, 1941 — February 3, 2020
On January 31, 2020 our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Phyllis “Toots” Joyce Berry departed this life at her home in Ranger, WV.
She is the daughter of stepdad James May and the late Ira Mullins and the late Lucille Mullins May. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three brothers Kenny May, Ronnie May, and Rex “Sonny” Sandifer.
Toots loved taking pictures, gardening, and enjoying time with family.
She is survived by her husband Roundy Berry; daughter, Patricia Mounts; two grandchildren, Dwayne Mounts and Stephanie Sias; and two great-grandchildren, Gage Sias and Zoey Sias. She is also survived by seven sisters, Wilma “Wilm” Eplin, Judy Powell, Angeline “Duke” Tooley, Cheryl “Diddy” Carroll, Carol “Carly” Smith, Connie Bailey, and Debbie Watts; three brothers, Jimmy “Bubby” May, Edward “Ed” May and Rick May. Toots will be missed by all her family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
