Phyllis Darlene Kimbler, 74, of Danville, WV passed away Friday, May 14, 2021.
Phyllis was born September 13, 1946 in Paintsville, Ky, a daughter of Eunice Vanhoose Colvin and Eddie Castle and her stepfather John Colvin.
She was a devout Christian, nurse, and loving mother.
She is survived by sister, Annis Mae Daniels of Van, WV; sons, Kenneth Kimbler Jr. (KJ) of Madison, WV and Jonathon Kimbler of Danville, WV; daughter, Melody Kimbler of Madison, WV; grandsons, Zachery Elswick of Alderson, WV and David Fennessy of Madison, WV; granddaughters, Allisha Kimbler of Madison, WV and McKenna Kimbler; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and family whom loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eunice Colvin; sisters Janet Bailey and Loretta Riffe; brother Johhny Colvin; grandson Jonathon Kimbler; and son-in-law David Fennessy.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Mark Meeker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing encouraged.
