Phyllis Ann Tudor, of Madison, West Virginia, peacefully gained her angel wings after a sudden illness on October 24, 2022 at Hospice Care (CAMC Memorial Hospital) with her family by her side.
She was born August 13, 1933 in Madison, West Virginia to the late Chilton and Vonda Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Elizabeth “Libby” Chambers and Frances “Fern” Cook; two brothers James Cook and Gene Hall; her loving husband of 53 years Maxel “Gay” Tudor; two daughters Gina Tudor and Lisa Pratt; and nephew James “Jumbo” Cook.
She is survived by her son, Christopher and daughter-in-law Terri Tudor of Madison, WV; one daughter, Jana Tudor of Madison, WV; three grandchildren, Shawn Pratt, Nicole Becker, and Hayley Tudor; two great grandchildren, Anna Reese and Tripp Pratt; nephew, John David Cook and wife Joann; nieces, Fran Ganda (whom Phyllis called her Scancie) and husband Theodore “Ted” Ganda I, and Jeannie Sanders and husband Bill; and great nephew Theodore “Teddy” Ganda II.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV with Pastor Jim Butcher officiating.
