Ralph C. Javins, born August 10, 1951, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dilford and Belva Javins; brothers, Ronnie, Charles Eugene, and William (Jake) Javins; sister; Betty Cox.
He is survived by two sons, Jonathan, and Jeremy Javins of Bloomingrose, WV; grandchildren, Elijah Javins of Charleston, Kayla, Leeya, and Isaiah Javins and Ian Milam of Belle, WV; brother, Frank Javins of Ashford; sisters, Carolyn Smith of Ashford, Loretta (Orville) Holstein of Peytona, and Barbara (Rick Mullins) of Alana, WV.
Ralph was a retired coal miner. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He was a Jehovah Witness and loved talking to others about his deep love for Jehovah. He could be considered a mountain man that loved to be in the woods, raising gardens, ginsenging, and in earlier years, hunting. He would be quick to tell you that he wouldn’t want this attention for himself, but rather attention to be focused on Christ’s sacrificial death and Jehovah Gods love.
A memorial service will be held on November 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 5018 Lancaster Ave., in Kanawha City, Charleston, WV with Elder Jeff Oskin officiating.
