Reba Louise Clendenin, 92, of Charleston, WV died Thursday, June 9, 2016 after a long illness. She was born and lived all her life at Seth, WV until three years ago when she went to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Burl Clendenin; her parents, Mitch and Verla Wilson of Seth and her sister, Edith DeNoe of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Thompson and son-in-law Karl of Charleston; one grandson, Jeremy Brent Thompson and his wife Kimberly, great grandchildren, Daniel Christian Thompson and Kaitlyn Brooke Thompson, all of Charleston; one nephew, Ronald DeNoe and his wife Sharon of Gassville, Arkansas.
She was a life-long member of the church of Christ, being a member the last several years of the Peytona Church of Christ and attending South Charleston Church of Christ the last three years.
Graveside service will be 11:00am, Saturday, June 11, at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV with ministers Louis Watts and Joseph Watts officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to either, Ohio Valley University, Parkersburg or Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston.
Pall Bearers for the service will be Lindy Abbott, Loren Daniel and Kenny Bailey.
